Enrico Di Lello – Data Scientist

Enrico Di Lello holds a M.Eng. in Automation Engineering from Roma Tre University, and a Ph.D. in Robotics from KU Leuven. He graduated with a thesis on an autonomous robotic table integrated in a smart home environment. He started working at his alma mater on multi-target tracking with radar data, and then moved to Leuven for his Ph.D.

His research led him to the world of Machine Learning. In particular, he applied Bayesian time-series models in different contexts, such as anomaly detection in industrial robotic tasks, human gait analysis and gas sensing.
At Sentiance, he will be working on user context prediction, and apply his expertise on time-series models to the inertial platform data.

I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it is much more interesting, to live not knowing, than to have answers which might be wrong. I have approximate answers, and possible beliefs, and different degrees of certainty about different things, but I am not absolutely sure of anything.
